1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND HOW DO WE USE IT?
We collect your personal information when you fill in your personal details on the online booking form or give the information to our staff during the booking process. We also ask you to fill in a digital check-in and waiver before you participate in our activities. When you book one of our experiences online, by phone call or at one of our sites we collect personal information including:
- your name
- your email
- your phone number
- your country of origin and where you have resided in the last year
- billing or purchase information
At check-in we collect personal information including:
- medical conditions, weight & age
- Digital signature on our waiver
We may also collect personal information about you (from third parties) where you have authorised this, or if the information is publicly available.
- Rezdy manage our online payments and use the third party payment solution Rezdy Pay
- We do not have access to complete credit card details under any circumstances
- In the case of refunds, Rezdy Pay use a token for each transaction, which enables us to find and refund your transaction, but we do not and cannot view credit card details
These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business. Cookies are a useful way to customise the website for your use and to collect information in the aggregate (anonymised) form to analyse how the website is being used. Except for the purposes contemplated in this Privacy Statement, we will not disclose any such information except in aggregate (anonymised) form.
User communications. When you send email or other communication to us, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.

At Rotorua Ziplines, we aim to make your shopping experience safe, convenient and worry-free. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised use, unauthorised modification and other misuse as is reasonable in the circumstances to take. For example: All of your personal information and order details are encrypted with the industry standard, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) authentication. This fully encrypts and protects all of the information that you send to us over the internet (such as name, address, credit card number etc). This information can only be read by authorised Rotorua Rafting Limited personnel, who will only use the information for the purpose of processing your order. We will never display your full credit card number once it has been processed through our secure server. When you receive your order confirmation email we will only reveal the last four digits of your credit card for verification purposes. We recommend you take prudent steps to secure your computer using up-to-date anti-spyware and virus protection software. We also recommend you use a strong password and that you do not share your password with anyone or share your password in an unsolicited phone call or e-mail. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorised access to systems where we store personal data.
