Our zipline tour runs through the Ōkere Falls Scenic Reserve, just a 20 minute drive from Rotorua, New Zealand. With four ziplines, a swing bridge and native boardwalks above the world-famous Kaituna River, it's ziplining in Rotorua like nowhere else.
After a dream that sparked in 2019 and a two year planning process, Rotorua Rafting's Sam Sutton and Ōkere Adventures were granted consent to build what we believe is a pinnacle of eco adventure tourism. Our dream has always been to inspire a better world through an exhilarating, educational adventure that connects guests to Papātūānuku (Mother Nature), embraces the cultural identity of our guides, and leaves a better Ōkere, a better New Zealand and a better planet for the generations to come.
Across the four lines of our Rotorua zipline, you'll fly through towering native trees and over thundering waterfalls at speeds of up to 40km/hr. Along the way, your guides share the cultural significance of the Ōkere Awa and practical ways we can all care for the planet together.
