Who has the best zipline in Rotorua?
Yes, you guessed it. Rotorua Ziplines offers the BEST Zipline experience in Rotorua! Don't believe us? Come and see for yourself!
Am I Too Old To Zipline?
The short answer is NO, never too old for adventure! As long as you are reasonably fit to walk 400 metres, then you will have a BLAST.
Can we get a Personalised or an Exclusive Tour?

Can we take cameras/phones?
Absolutely, we recommend it! However, you do take these items at your own risk. We do offer video cameras for hire at $40 per camera. Your guides will be taking some photos also of you that we will send through to you for FREE!
What's the minimum age?
Our minimum age is 5! We find sometimes that those that are younger may want to buddy up with a parent or guide for the first zipline, then once they have a feel for it, they will want to send it by themselves. 😜
We've got a big group, do you take groups?
Absolutely. If you have a group over 10 people, just fire us an email to zip@rotoruaziplines.nz or call us on 0800 772 384.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Rotorua Ziplines reserves the right to cancel or amend a trip due to weather or unforeseen circumstances at any stage. In this case, clients are given an option to rebook or receive a full refund. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of Rotorua Ziplines.
How many people are on a tour?
We like to keep groups small, no one likes to wait. There is a maximum of 10 people per tour, with 2 guides. However, if you have a group over 10, don't panic, just give us a call on 0800 772 384 or email through to zip@rotoruaziplines.nz and we will make a plan.
Is there a Weight Limit?
Yes, we have a maximum weight limit of 130kg. Unfortunately, if you are over this weight, we are unable to take you. We do have scales at base if you need to check discreetly.
Is Ziplining Safe?
Absolutely! Ziplining is classed as soft adventure. We pride ourselves on our safe practices and are regulated by Adventures Mark.
Will we still go if it's raining or windy?
Ziplining is a great experience, rain or shine. So we’ll go ahead even if it is raining, please dress appropriately. If the wind gets above 30 knots, we may have to cancel the tour for safety’s sake. If this happens, you’ll have the option to change the time and/or date of your tour, or get a full refund.
What should we bring?
We will provide all safety gear however, we do ask that you please bring comfortable weather appropriate clothing and covered footwear. ie - If it is wet, please bring a rainjacket. If it is sunny, feel free to bring a cap/hat. Please wear covered footwear.
How Long Is The Tour?
You'll be out in the Ngahere (Forest) for around 2 hours. Allow 2.5-3 hours all together for transfers, gearing up and getting to our base.
